I can’t help but think about all the choices I’ve made
Today, as I head to my dance class I can’t help but think about all the choices I’ve made. Some were good like choosing to pursue dance as my passion. Others well not so much.
In the studio, I look around at the empty space. It’s quiet now, but soon it will be filled with students who look up to me. That’s a lot of pressure but it’s also a reminder that I need to lead by example. Every move I make every decision affects not just my life but theirs too.
After class, I get back to my small apartment feeling the weight of the day. The bills on the table remind me that I’m not just dancing for fun I’m dancing to survive. But instead of feeling frustrated I take a deep breath and remember: I’m here because of my past choices. And if I want to change my future I need to make better choices today.
So, I sit down and start planning my week focusing on what I can do differently. It’s not easy but being humble enough to admit where I went wrong is the first step in making things right.
