test of my self-belief
Today was a test of my self-belief. I had to pitch a new dance project to a potential client and I was nervous. My mind was filled with doubts what if they don’t like my ideas? What if I’m not good enough?
But then I remembered the Law of Humility. It’s about being honest with yourself and that means recognizing both your strengths and weaknesses. I reminded myself of all the hard work I’ve put in all the skills I’ve developed and all the successes I’ve had, no matter how small.
With that in mind I walked into the meeting with confidence. I presented my ideas with passion and I didn’t let my doubts hold me back. By the end of the meeting the client was impressed and I felt a surge of pride.
Today I learned that self-belief is one of the most powerful tools we have. When we believe in ourselves others start to believe in us too. And that belief can open doors we never thought possible.
