my body is tired
The alarm rings early again. It’s Tuesday and while my body is tired my mind is set. I’ve decided that every day I’m going to push a little harder work a little smarter and keep moving forward.
Today, I’m focusing on persistence. At work, things are tough. The projects are piling up and I can feel the pressure. But I remember my promise to myself: Life won’t just happen to me. I need to take control. So I tackle each task with determination even when it feels overwhelming.
In the evening it’s back to the dance studio. My legs feel like they might give out but I push through the pain. Every time I fall I get back up. Persistence I remind myself is key. The more I keep going the closer I get to my dreams.
As I lie in bed that night I think about the day. It wasn’t perfect and I didn’t solve all my problems. But I kept going and that’s what counts. Tomorrow is another chance to keep pushing.
