thinking about the things I hold on
Today, I’m thinking about the things I hold on to – old habits, fears, and even people who may not be good for me. “The Law of Change” teaches that sometimes, in order to grow, you have to let go of what’s holding you back.
At work, I notice how I cling to certain ways of doing things, even when they’re not the most effective. I decide to try a new approach on a project, one that’s different from what I’m used to. It’s a bit uncomfortable at first, but I can see that it’s working better.
In dance, I start to let go of the fear of judgment. I realize that I’ve been holding myself back because I’m worried about what others think. Today, I dance like no one’s watching, and for the first time in a long time, I feel truly free.
As the day ends, I think about what else I need to let go of. It’s not easy, but I know that in order to grow, I have to make room for new things to enter my life. Letting go isn’t about giving up; it’s about making space for something better.
