feeling that something is holding me back
As I dance through my routine today I can’t shake the feeling that something is holding me back. My movements feel heavy my energy is low and I know it’s not just because I didn’t get enough sleep.
During a break I sit down and think about what’s really bothering me. The truth is I’ve been carrying the weight of yesterday’s mistakes. I’ve been too hard on myself for things I can’t change.
The Law of Humility teaches me that I need to accept my past but it also tells me not to let it define my future. So I take a deep breath and let go of yesterday. I focus on the present moment on each step and each beat.
By the end of the day, I feel lighter. My dance feels more fluid, and my mind is clearer. It’s amazing how much difference it makes when you let go of what’s holding you back. Tomorrow, I’ll try to remember this feeling and carry it with me.
