leadership position making

In any leadership position making others come to you is a powerful tool. A leader who is constantly chasing after people to get things done or trying to fix every small issue loses respect and authority. Instead a leader should inspire others to seek their guidance and advice.

Look at Nelson Mandela. He was not always at the forefront of action but his presence and wisdom made others seek him out. He used his calm and composed demeanor to attract allies and followers. By standing firm and showing clarity in his purpose Mandela made others feel that they needed him to succeed. His leadership style was like a beacon and people came to him willingly knowing that his wisdom could guide them through challenging times.

If you’re in a leadership position, you can adopt this approach by showing confidence in your decisions and creating an environment where people want to seek your opinion. Instead of micromanaging show that you trust others to do their work and they will be more inclined to come to you for guidance.
