thinking a lot about patience
This morning I’m thinking a lot about patience. Change is a slow process and it’s easy to get frustrated when things don’t happen as quickly as you’d like. But “The Law of Change” reminds me that growth takes time and patience is an essential part of the journey.
At work, I remind myself to be patient with my progress. I’m learning new skills and it’s going to take time before I’m really good at them. It’s easy to get discouraged when I don’t see immediate results but I know that every bit of effort is adding up even if I can’t see it yet.
In dance I focus on being patient with myself. There are still moves I’m struggling with and it’s tempting to get frustrated and give up. But I remind myself that mastery takes time and the only way to get there is to keep practicing even when it’s hard.
By the end of the day, I feel a sense of calm. Patience isn’t just about waiting; it’s about trusting the process and knowing that growth is happening even if you can’t see it right away. It’s about being kind to yourself and giving yourself the time you need to change.
