learned to disconnect in order to reconnect with myself

Hey, it’s Sunil. Today, I want to share how I’ve learned to disconnect in order to reconnect with myself and find peace.

In our digital world it’s easy to get overwhelmed by constant notifications, social media, and the pressure to always be available. I used to feel like I needed to be online all the time but it was exhausting. I realized that I needed to disconnect to reconnect with myself.

Now, I make it a point to unplug from technology every once in a while. I turn off my phone step away from my computer, and just enjoy the present moment. Sometimes I go for a walk listen to the sounds around me or simply sit in silence. These moments of disconnect help me clear my mind and recharge.

When I return to my writing after taking a break I feel more focused and refreshed. It’s like my mind has had a chance to breathe. Disconnecting has become an essential part of my routine to stay calm and centered.
