Negativity much like bad luck

Negativity much like bad luck can spread quickly. Constant exposure to someone else’s unhappiness can color your own perspective making you see the world in a darker light. The more time you spend around negative people the more you may find yourself adopting their worldview. This can affect not only your emotional well being but also your personal and professional life.

Consider Liam who was known for his upbeat and positive attitude. However after months of working closely with a colleague who constantly complained about everything Liam’s attitude started to shift. He began seeing problems everywhere at work, in his relationships, and even in his hobbies. It wasn’t until he distanced himself from his colleague that he realized how much of their negativity had influenced him. With space to breathe Liam returned to his usual optimistic self and his life started to improve again.

Moral: Protect your mental and emotional space by keeping a healthy distance from those who bring constant negativity into your life.
