Bad luck can be contagious

Bad luck can be contagious. Think of it like a domino effect one person’s misfortune can trigger a series of events that lead others down the same path. This isn’t because bad luck is a mystical force, but rather because people who consistently experience setbacks often lack the mindset or habits that lead to success. When you spend too much time with these individuals, you risk becoming part of their cycle of failure.

Consider the story of Mark a small business owner who partnered with a man named Tom. Tom had a string of failed businesses behind him but promised Mark that this time would be different. Despite warnings from others Mark believed in Tom’s vision. But Tom’s bad habits like poor financial management and a lack of long-term planning soon affected the partnership. Within a year their joint business was in ruins. Mark lost his investment and had to rebuild from scratch all because he ignored the signs of Tom’s unlucky streak.

Moral: Avoiding people who carry a pattern of failure can save you from being caught in their unfortunate cycles.
